The app only unlocks copying limitations without password. To unlock printing limitations, the password is required!

"Open in Function" needs a bugfix for the latest IOS Version. All in all its a useful app to remove passwords from pdf-files where you already know the password.

Sad. It was a very usefull application for me, but since IOS 6 the "open in" dialog is not longer working, which makes the app quite useless, since you cant edit pdfs in it. Since there will be an update, i would not recommend to buy it, though you might use it as an pdf viewer..

PDF Remover does exactly as it describes, however theyve missed on essential key feature in their description: it removes not only any password protection on the PDF, it also removes the PDFs table of contents, bookmarks etc. For use with manuals, this is not the best app for removing a PDF password.

Does not worth the money. Garbage, plus technical support does not reply at all. They take your money and thats it

To decript a file It need the password, to make printable a locked file It need the password....why should I use an app to decript a file I own all the password is something above me! do I have to add something else to describe how much this app is unuseful?

Its not working yet. I can enter the user password to open a protected pdf, but then the owner password is required to remove restrictions.

The app took a 3.2 MB file took out the password and made the file 27.1 MB cant even e-mail. Also "open-in" does not work.

Everything seemed to be working fine at first. My 40+ MB PDF password on my protected file was reportedly removed in very short order. The problem came when I needed to export the file and use the unlocked copy and print capabilities. I was hoping to save the unlocked file in my DropBox but NO joy. The "Open in" drop down opened revealing a totally blank box. NONE of the export options listed in the app details were present. Next, I thought I would try drafting an e-mail, saving the draft, and extract the file into a PDF reader, but it wont create the draft due to the size limitation of attachments. Needless to say I was very disappointed. I wrote the developer only to receive a brief e-mail stating that this is a known bug and will be corrected in a future update. NO idea when this update will hit the streets or in which update it will be corrected. This program looks promising, but I would wait until the "Open in" bug is corrected. If you have a smaller file, I was able to attach a 120 KB file to an e-mail. Unfortunately for me most of my files are manuals that are multiple MB huge. I will update my rating once the update has been released, loaded, and run.

This app opened the file and unlocked it but a large portion of the text does not appear in the unlocked file when using certain programs like Adobe Reader on my iPad. The text is visible when using Adobe Reader on my laptop though... But that defeats the purpose of using this app on my iPad.

It is a scam. Doesnt open any files. Compete waste of money!

If you have a password to open, this program will remove the owner password. I needed this because I have to upload the PDF into a a loan system for underwriters. The system will not allow password protected files. I was printing and rescanning.

I have a PDF that opens normally but doesnt allow printing. I have not created this file and have no pass words and just want to print it. This App does not help me at all. It wants a pass word even though the file does open on the ipad.

The PDF password remover certainly works. Good job! It crashes several times after opening the documents in other apps though. Hope that it could be fixed earlier. ^_^
